Bean Soup - Double Batch

of our dear friend Mary Jones
Ingredients:
2 - 32oz or 4 - 16oz Cans Pork
& Beans
2 - 16oz Can Kidney Beans (do
not drain)
2 - 16oz Can Butter Beans (do
not drain)
1 lb of Bacon
2 lb of Hamburger
1 Large or 2 Medium yellow
onions
1 cup Brown
sugar
1 cup Ketchup
4 Tablespoons Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Salt
Instructions:
Chop and then cook Bacon and set
aside.
Brown hamburger with chopped
onion.
Add bacon to pot.
Mix
the following ingredients together, add to pot
and allow to simmer 30 - 45 min.
1 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Ketchup
4 Tablespoons Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Salt
Add Beans

not drain)
2 - 16oz Can Butter Beans (do
not drain)
Allow
to simmer on low in pot 2 to 4 hours and
serve.
Goes well with Cheesy
