Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole
 

Ingredients
1 - 2 lb bag of frozen hash browns, thawed 
1 medium onion, chopped finely 
6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine, melted 
16 ounces sour cream 
8 ounces cheddar cheese (shredded)
10 3/4 ounces cream of chicken soup 
Corn flakes 
1/2 Cup of melted butter
 

Instructions
In a 9 x 13 baking pan, layer potatoes, onions, 1/2 cup butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and soup. 
Cover and bake for 45 minutes, remove from oven, sprinkle top with cornflakes, and bake for another 15 minutes uncovered.
