Cherry  Jello  Salad

From the kitchen of Carolyn Langdale

3 oz cherry jello, plus 1 & 1/4 cup boiling water. (dissolve)
1 can "Wilderness Cherry Pie Filling."  Original.
2 bananas chopped
1 small apple chopped
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Mix well and let cool in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
Cool Whip...optional.
