Rice Pilaf Casserole
From the kitchen at Almira


Ingredients:
2 16oz cans Beef Consume Soup
32oz water
2 sticks butter
2 cups rice
1 lg onion
add mushrooms to taste
 

Instructions:
Brown onions and mushrooms in butter, add soup and water to pan to heat up.  
Pour over rice in 9 x 13 casserole dish.

Bake approximately 60 minutes @ 400

Add boneless chicken breast or pre-grilled pork chop steak in bottom of the pan for great chicken and rice or pork chop and rice dish.
