Sausage Stuffing
From the kitchen of Stephie
Ingredients:
5 cups of French Bread cut into small cubes
1 lb of breakfast sausage
3 cups of Honey Crisp apples
2/3 cup of dried cranberries
1 Tbsp dried Sage
1 Tbsp dried Rosemary
1.5 tsp dried Thyme
1 cup of chicken broth
5 Tbsp butter
1 diced onion
1 egg
1.5 cup fresh Parsley
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°
Saute onions and seasonings in 1 Tbsp of butter until
soft.
Add sausage
Once sausage is done add apples, cranberries and parsley
Melt remaining butter and then add broth and egg, whisk
together.
Layer sausage mix, bread and then pour liquid mix over
bread.
Bake covered for 25 minutes and uncovered for 35 at 400°
