Thanksgiving / Christmas Turkey

This page is provided only as a reference of weights and times for roasting a turkey.
 


As far as cooking the Turkey, I prefer to do it in a counter top roaster oven. We use a Hamilton Beach Roaster Oven
like the one pictured below.  When you prepare a turkey you generally only have one shot to get it right before a
whole bunch of people show up expecting a perfect turkey. I feel like the Roaster Oven gives you more control over
the process and so far I've always had perfectly roasted turkeys doing it this way.
