Classic Meatloaf
From the kitchen at Almira


2 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
1 cup dried bread crumbs
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
2 tablespoon brown sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 
Combine ground beef, onions, ketchup, mustard, bread crumbs, eggs, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire, salt, oregano, and thyme in a large bowl and mix thoroughly with your hands. Be careful not to over mix -- it should be soft but hold its shape. 

Place mixture into a 10-inch by 5-inch loaf baking pan, place in oven and bake for approx. 1 hour.

Combine 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 2 tablespoon brown sugar in a small bowl and stir until combined. 

Bake for 45 minutes, quickly remove from oven, brush the meatloaf with the glaze, return to oven.
Bake an additional 15 min.
